Ingredients:

  1. Chicken with bone, cut into small pieces. You can take boneless too if you prefer that.
  2. 1 cup Cream
  3. 1 cup Curd
  4. Salt
  5. Black Pepper, grounded and whole.
  6. Green Cardamoms.
  7. Dhaniya Powder
  8. Kasuri Methi
  9. Ginger Garlic paste.
  10. Finely chopped Garlic.
  11. 2 table spoons of Desi Ghee. You may replace it with refined oil but if you want taste, cook it in Desi Ghee.

Method:
  1. First, we need to marinade the chicken. Add curd, salt, grounded black pepper, dhaniya powder and ginger garlic paste to chicken and mix it nice and proper. Leave it to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Now, heat desi ghee in kadhai/pan. Make sure its not too hot.
  3. Add chopped garlic, cardamoms and whole black pepper and along with it, add the marinated chicken with all the marinade.
  4. Cook it for 5 minutes so that chicken gets a bit of light brown color.
  5. Now cover it and let it cook on low for 15-20 minutes so that it cooks well and becomes tender. You might want to take more time if its not cooked properly.
  6. Once it becomes tender, add the cream and mix well and cook it for another 10 minutes on low-medium heat till you see the oils oozing out. This is a sign that its ready.
  7. But, one last step. Now add Kasuri Methi to it and mix well and cook it uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Kasuri Methi not only adds some color to the white dish but also gives a very peculiar fragrance to the dish. Personally, i love it!
  8. Your Safedposh Chicken is ready. Serve it will hot and crispy parantha.

I hope you liked the look of the dish and also the simple recipe of this Cream Chicken.
